This notice explains what information the Dr. M Hair Care website (www.drmhaircare.com) handles, why, and the choices you have.

Who we are

This website is run by FOLLI DOC GLOBAL (M) SDN. BHD. (1473174V / 202201027477). Email [email protected]. You can reach us on WhatsApp at +60 12-334 4983.

What this website collects

The website has no forms and never asks for your name, phone number or email address.

To measure our ads, it uses the Meta Pixel and Conversions API, described below. It doesn’t load any other third-party trackers or analytics tools.

The ad reference cookie (__oppref)

If you arrive from an ad link that contains an oppref reference (a click reference added by ChatGPT ads), the website saves that reference in a first-party cookie named __oppref. It is kept for 30 days and is used only to tell which ad brought a visit. Nothing else is stored in it, and this website does not share it with anyone (it is not sent to Meta).

You can delete the cookie at any time in your browser settings.

Campaign reference in WhatsApp messages

If the link you arrived from contains campaign tags (utm_source / utm_campaign), a short reference such as [ref: chatgpt-a] is added to the end of the pre-filled WhatsApp message, so our team knows which ad you came from. You can see it, and delete it, before you send the message.

Meta Pixel and Conversions API (ad measurement)

We use the Meta Pixel and Meta’s Conversions API, tools from Meta Platforms, to measure how our Facebook and Instagram ads perform: for example, how many people who saw an ad then visited this page and tapped a WhatsApp button. Meta may also use this information to help show our ads to people who are more likely to be interested.

What is sent to Meta: the pages you view on this website (web address and language); when you tap a WhatsApp button, which button and page section it was, plus the campaign reference and, if you used the bundle calculator, the number of bottles of each product, the delivery region and the total; your IP address; browser and device information (the “user agent”); and the values of the _fbp and _fbc cookies. We don’t send your name, phone number, email address or the content of your WhatsApp messages.

How it is sent: the Pixel sends these events from your browser directly to Meta. The same events are also sent from our website server (hosted on Cloudflare) to Meta through the Conversions API, so measurement still works if the browser part is blocked. Each event carries a random event ID, so Meta counts it only once.

Cookies: _fbp is a first-party cookie holding a random browser identifier. _fbc is set only when you arrive from a Facebook or Instagram ad link, and holds that ad’s click reference (fbclid). Both are kept for up to 90 days from your last visit. Meta may also use its own cookies on facebook.com. Meta handles the data it receives under its own privacy policy, and the data may be processed outside Malaysia.

Your choices: you can block or delete this website’s cookies in your browser settings, or use a content blocker to block the Meta Pixel. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, this website doesn’t load the Pixel or send any of these events. You can also control how Meta uses activity from other websites to show you ads in your Facebook ad preferences and under “Your activity off Meta technologies” in Meta Accounts Centre.

We process this information for ad measurement in line with Malaysia’s Personal Data Protection Act 2010. To ask about it, message us on WhatsApp.

Language preference

On the English page, a small suggestion may offer the 中文 or Bahasa Melayu version. If you close it, your browser remembers that choice in local storage on your device. It is not sent to us.

Hosting

The website is hosted on Cloudflare. To deliver the pages and protect the website from abuse, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, under its own privacy policy. Our website server also forwards the ad measurement events described above to Meta.

When you message us on WhatsApp

If you contact us on WhatsApp, we use your name, phone number and messages only to reply to you and to process and deliver your order. WhatsApp is operated by Meta under its own privacy policy.

We keep order conversations only as long as needed for your order and our business records.

Your rights under the PDPA 2010

Under Malaysia’s Personal Data Protection Act 2010, you may ask to access or correct the personal data we hold about you, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. To make a request, message us on WhatsApp.

Changes to this notice

If we change how the website handles information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
